Tech Policy Youth Committee launch
We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the CPH Tech Policy Youth Committee, a committee of students interested in and wanting to impact the Tech Policy Debate in Denmark and beyond.
Sophus Garfiel, Permanent Secretary of State for Digital Government and Gender Equality will introduce the committee, followed by a panel discussion.
The overarching theme of the discussion is Youth in the Digital World: Digital Dependencies, which we understand as the overuse of the internet or electronics to the point that one’s daily life is affected, which in turn can generate societal issues. The panel will be discussing questions like what are the opportunities and risks of growing up in an increasingly digitalized era? How can younger generations engage in shaping the digital landscape?
The aim of the debate is to highlight issues, dilemmas, and challenges that affect us all at present and will continue to permeate the lives of future generations. Thus, the perspectives brought forward in the debate will bring insight to the committee which can be utilized in their future work.
