What is Queen Mary's Centre?

Queen Mary's Centre is a public impact centre based in the University of Copenhagen and focused on applying humanities and social science research towards addressing today's major societal challenges.

We do this by creating and strengthening partnerships between scholars and their collaborators in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to enable them to address pressing societal issues together.

Through partnerships between university scholars and external stakeholders, we facilitate the co-creation of solutions to complex societal challenges including climate change, the rapid growth of AI, domestic violence, and public health and wellbeing.

The centre is named after Her Majesty Queen Mary, who sits on the centre’s Advisory Committee.
