Copenhagen Impact Lab

The Copenhagen Impact Lab is a network established by Queen Mary’s Centre and Velux Foundations. The network shall promote research-practice cooperation and strengthen the framework for problem-solving knowledge.

The Copenhagen Impact Lab is comprised of a small group of leaders from universities, foundations and public and private enterprises. It is a network for decision-makers occupied with research-practice cooperation on a daily basis.

These years, a lot of authorities, companies, associations and foundations generate new knowledge together with university research environments. So far, though, no one has systematically accumulated experiences with research-practice cooperation or created a forum for stakeholders testing different approaches and methods. Instead of building on previous experiences, many projects therefore begin from scratch. The Copenhagen Impact Lab seeks to change that.

The network meets four times a year to exchange experience with recent projects, discuss Danish and international best practice and develop new tools and knowledge that may prove valuable to ongoing and future projects. The first meeting was held on 20 January 2022.
