Are the potential benefits of AI distributed in a socially just manner, or does the emergence of AI instead risk reinforcing existing social inequalities?

In the coming years, these questions will be the focus of Queen Mary Centre’s work on digitalisation and AI. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships with professionals across different sectors, we will explore the potential of artificial intelligence to contribute positively to public sector innovation.

We pursue this work through a range of different programmes, including our Policy Fellowship programme on digitalisation and technology.
