Policy Fellowship

A room filled with people seated in a circle, engaged in discussion and debate

Addressing society’s major challenges requires cross-sectoral expertise and interdisciplinary research capable of inspiring new solutions. Yet in the midst of a busy professional life, it can be difficult to find the time and the right opportunities to seek out new insights.

Our policy fellowship is a flexible, innovation-oriented programme that enables professionals from business, community organisations, the public sector, and philanthropy to participate in one-year fellowships aimed at improving their understanding of the societal challenges they work with.

Through tailored one-on-one meetings with university researchers, as well as seminars and networking events for all policy fellows, the programme creates opportunities to build new relationships and facilitate information sharing between researchers and policy fellows across sectors.

The programme is inspired by a similar initiative at University of Cambridge and represents a unique model in a Danish context. Each fellowship round lasts approximately 10 months.

The policy fellowship programme focuses on a different problem area, or theme, in each fellowship round. Past themes include: climate and the economy, the green transition, and digitalisation and technology.
