Sustainable Action

The climate crisis requires systemic and long-term changes to be implemented at a very rapid pace.
On the one hand, this creates a need for action-oriented leaders in politics, business, and the community who can implement sustainable policies and initiatives. It also requires that decisions, policies, and interventions in this area are broadly perceived as legitimate by the population, and that citizens are engaged in the efforts to ensure that Denmark achieves its climate and environmental goals. This way, environmental policies can be socially embedded and endure over time.
To address these challenges, we seek to improve the ability of democratic institutions to respond to the environmental crisis effectively and legitimately.
We pursue this work through a range of different programmes, including our Policy Fellowship programme on the green transition, and our Impact Lab.
