What do you research?

In my Center for Hybrid Intelligence we explore pathways for developing and deploying human centered AI technologies in ways that are beneficial for the individuals, the organization and the nation in terms of sustainability, innovation and competitiveness. In my European Quantum Readiness Center, we develop community and research driven guidelines for organisations and nations to navigate their quantum technology transformation to maximize long term growth potential.

Why is it so important?

Technological and economic sovereignty are among the two most important issues for Europe at the moment. Long term economic and societal wealth cannot be achieved unless we develop technologies and value generation pathways that are innovative and accentuate the particular European strengths in culture, mindset and ecosystem.

A project you are proud of? 

I am particularly proud of my concrete work with small and large organizations to generate concrete value and competitive advantage using generative AI with a hybrid intelligent mindset and helping them understand when and how a quantum technology investment will be beneficial to them.
